The USA's National Debt as a ratio to our GDP is FAR lower than it has been at many points in our past.....and the "cost per hour" for maintaining the fleet of craft designated "Air Force One" is a FIXED expense, and has been since the 1950s.....or did YOU think the Crew & Maintenance Staff only get paid WHILE the US President or members of his family are actually traveling? (Do they get "sent home without pay" when nobody is going anywhere? LOL!)

Folks just like you are the very REASON the Democrats are doing so well!

First, it's a lie we can never pay it. We're constantly paying it back, and re-borrowing it. We could pay it down, if the GOP weren't in power.

Second, that amount of money is NOTHING.

Third, you're bothered by pennies, but were NEVER bothered by the more than TEN TRILLION that Bush's tax cuts and needless war are costing us?

Let's ask Dubya, who was far more of a part time president, spending more time on vacation from the White House than any other president in modern history, even more than Reagan. It's not even close.
