Having trouble with my new laptop and Windows 10?
So I got a new Lenovo laptop, and was offered the free Windows 10 update. Naïvely, I jumped at the chance, and now my life is hell. My laptop more often than not falls into this "mood" where the desktop files won't load, the only library folder that opens without sitting there on "working on it..." is Pictures, and Microsoft Office applications (I think I have 365 - the uni gives it out for free) just sit there loading without ever getting there.
Sometimes the desktop stops responding (which is horrifying, because it's the desktop), and I can't access many things in settings, like Windows Update. iTunes works. Troubleshooting turns up with zilch.
Can anybody help me?

I have a theorising that Norton may be responsible, as it got considerably less worse when I let McAfee handle most of the antivirus tasks, and then it got worse again when McAfee expired.
