So is any thing special going to happen to Jehovah's Witness apostates during Armageddon? Like a special punishment?
So Jehovah's Witnesses teach that ALL other people (billions) will die at Armageddon, anyone who isn't a baptized JW will die. My question is will something especially bad happen to apostates? My point being is if you are going to die anyways, why not be an apostate?

@ Gary - You are probably too indoctrinated to understand, but actually most modern religions teach tolerance. Basically that people in other religions could be right too and that they won't go to hell. For just Christians, that's 2.2 billion that will be saved. Some Christian religions are even open to the teachings of other religions. But like I said, you are too indoctrinated to understand that other religions could be tolerant and accepting of each other.

No, according to the Witnesses the very worst thing that can possibly happen to "apostates" is that they will be annihilated - they will know nothing. No eternal punishment, just eternal soul sleep.
Makes you wonder why they get so riled up against "apostates" unless it's out of sheer frustration that they won't be singled out for special punishment.
The fact that everything they believe about what happens to the soul after death, the resurrection and the Day of Judgment is wrong, merely highlights the fact they are preaching a false gospel. It really makes me sad to see how they have been deceived, because their eternal destination depends on acknowledging who Jesus Christ REALLY is - that he is NOT a created archangel called Michael.

I doubt that they thinks so, and given the arbitrary way in which the myriad religious dole out punishments, that is really all that matters; at least from the perspective that one religion isn't right to the exclusion of the others, a perspective that, based on my encounters with Christians, there is no consensus

My uncle had a postate exam recently and we were all relieved to hear that he got a clean bill of health. Every male over 50 should get a postate exam every 8 years or so. (Sorry, McGee, I couldn't resist. Forgive me).
