Closing cost on TV show Flip or Flop?

Why are what they claim to be closing costs 24K on a 500K+ house?

Isn't that a high even for California?

    Sounds about right.

    Sounds like the closing costs included all the usually costs plus prepaid taxes and prepaid homeowners insurance.

    5-6% sales commission so is 25k itself
