what would you do?(any tips on how to teach her to respect me)?
So for the next 2.5moths my little sister(Dylan- 13)is living with me(I'm a 27 year old guy) because our parents are abroad and it past 3weeks
This morning I tried to wake her up at 7 a.m. for school,it's came to the point where it was 7:30 and she wasn't out of bed yet!I went up to her room one more time and I said that she has to wake up so she told me "I'm is not going to school" I was so pissed that I slapped her in the face her eyes immediately opened and she slapped me back! I was so pissed by that point that I went downstairs took my keys and locked her in the house! when she called me at 10 A.Mshe was shouting at me and not apologizing Her first words were are a ******* idiot?I told her that she needs to learn how to behave/speak to me and I hung up on her! I came home at7:30 and she was NOT home! I started calling her friends and nobody knew where she was! I told myself that I will wait until 9! and I will call the police! at 8:40 she came home! she walked past me like I was not there! And she started walking up stairs
Me:"stop right there young lady and get your butt over here!"
Dylan:"shut up I don't care about your opinion"
Me:"it's not an opinion you have to do it!and look at me when I'm talking to you"
Dylan:"shut the F up I don't care! Bye!"
she continued walking up the stairs!and I went after her and I swing the door open!
I told her to give me her Electronics but she refuses to give me them!I tried shouting,talking ,everything but she acts like a brat.

I know how it feels like when you are trying very hard to get your sister to do the right things. Now there are some parts you should amend it in future.
1) don't slap ur sister's face. Just ask her why sheep doesn't want to go to school? And thus ask about her schooling status. Whether anyone bullies her, or lessons too boring. If she still doesn't wakes up, let her be. You can force her to do things sometimes.
2) Don't use too much vulgarities. She's just 13. Try to use a serious tone without vulgarities and explain to her the importance of this.
She's at fault too. She should know that truant is bad. Plus she should respect you because you are still her brother and older than her. She should at least give you a call on Where she goes so that you don't have to worry.
Try to apologize to her, talk to her and settle down for the both of you, tell each other your ways of communication and what can be amended in future.
Hope both of you can be together happily!
