You mean what if God was slob just like us, another rider on the bus?

Then he, she or it would not be God but another mere delusional mortal....

This post reminds this one of a song he once heard, a video on MTV, a young lady sang it. She had long blonde hair and good voice....but her name escapes this one.

God WAS one of us. He was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became the man, Jesus. He was a man like us in all things but sin. This is basic Christianity.

well, it is written that He can walk among us, but he could never be one of us, except that Jesus walked among us. Jesus appears in glory, God doesnt appear except Jesus brings a person to HIM. btw the tv series was a story of imagination, and the song gets it wrong too

Lmao. Did anyone think of the scene in Austin Powers where Dr. Evil was singing the song?

I love Joan Osborne's song "One Of Us" which asks "What if God was one of us?" because Christians believe that God did become one of us.

    Here are the lyrics: http://xenia.media.mit.edu/~bdenckla/lyrics/relish...

    With love in Christ.

Who said: "...whatever you did to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did to me."

(hint: He was not referring to his birth siblings)
