So why doesn't America take notes from Sweden?
I'm only using Sweden as the example because a lot of gun people like to point to them and say "they have guns too". Even though they have very strict laws on owning a gun and ammunition regulations. Should America be taking notes from them about gun control/rights or will people still complain about taking away the 2nd amendment?

It's MORE than just 2nd Amendment rights... it's about ALL of the amendments.
Did you know that in Sweden, you can paint your house one of only 19 State Approved colors?

Because Murica is in love with it's guns, when you are in love common sense flies out the window.
The 2nd amendment is specifically about arms for a 'well regulated Militia', I doubt the vast majority of gun owners have ever been part of a militia or have any intentions of being in one.

People will complain. We prefer freedom here, and are willing to accept the occasional costs of that freedom. If you prefer nanny state protection, there are quite a few other nations out there you could go. Assuming, of course, there "progressive" immigration laws will let you in.

problem is libs have not decided on what the political term "gun control" means.
