Does anyone have any advice for a young aspiring entrepreneur?

I'm 19 and I'm looking at getting the business, it's always been a personal interest of mine but nothing has really come of it. Currently in an apprenticeship of engineering which I enjoy but I refuse to believe this is it for my life... I don't have any special school qualifications, I have a 2 year experience in business studies from school and working for myself has always been a goal. Just think of it as me starting out in something I have a strong interest in, I was wondering if anyone had any advice, from a business point of view, for someone in my position, something to get the ball rolling if you will?

Talk to an accountant, and buy some used college text books and study them

Make as many contacts as you can...and never, ever burn a bridge, as you never know when you will run into people later in business.
