Are we ourselves?

Update:

With apologies to the song writer. But it's an interesting question though.

    Excellent question!

I think we are the best interpretation of the intended version of ourself we can be.

One thing I have always believed and preached whole heartedly is....change is the only constant.

I am my past self, my future self, and my probable selves. I am all the me's that will exist or ever existed.

We are also all one.... all one perceived from the perspective of an individual within a point in time.

All time is happening at once, and all perspectives of every individual are all seeing from their own point of view now, here, at once. Some not focused in this exact particular point in time and space....some just one blink of an eye away from this moment point.

Are we ourselves....of course. We are who we choose to be, and that is us being ourselves. Some will say "I did not choose to be this". That's ok too. There are two or three sides at least to any coin.

Are we are our whole self, higher self, or some sort of other fancy sounding larger self term idea? I think we are that too.

Are we our authentic self? I imagine we are being that also. Each of us plays a role in the greater scheme or picture of things. The role we choose should be played out to the best of our ability. Else you appear just half assed interested in life, still though that's a role. Anyone who can be themselves with half interest....maybe they have a foot in both worlds as the saying goes.

We are ourselves. Yes. (tomorrow, is a day of change, and if I say No, we are not ourselves....we don't even know who we are). I am both right. Either way I am myself. :)

    Make sense?
