MGTOW represent a threat to a lot of groups. All civilized nations have a vested interest in men NOT going their own way. But, conforming to all their historically traditional roles. The military requires men that do NOT go their own way. Modern civilization that requires a lot of heavy lifting be performed by men will not survive with too many men going their own way.

And surprise, surprise, .... Feminism cannot survive with men going their own way. Feminism requires men to remain in their traditional roles, despite all the commentary to the contrary by feminists pretending to want to break down gender roles for everyone.

MGTOW are men who are choosing to out of the modern civilized system and it's rules entirely. Not just abandoning women, but even their own male roles within society that keeps civilization rolling along at their expense through the transfer of wealth via the government systems.

Men created this civilization by banding together and agreeing to play their parts in it. The dynamics continually change, and a lot of these guys are feeling that they are getting a raw deal now. Rather than participate in what they feel is their own exploitation, they just sit it out on the sidelines not contributing any more than a spectator would.

Many people (both men and women) dislike the idea of Men Going Their Own Way because we live in a gynocentric society (women first society). Feminism is nothing more than hypergynocentrism. Men that dislike MGTOW generally do so because they have daughters that might suffer from men opting out, haven't yet been divorce raped, are seriously naive or are beta male servants of the gynocracy. Beta male servants of the gynocracy very often mistakenly see themselves as alpha males. They "white knight" and "damsel" they gynocracy to curry favor., Additionally, marriage and divorce are multi-billion dollar a year businesses - so there are many that have their livelihoods and hopes for financial security tied to marriage and/or divorce.

The #1 way in which men's lives are destroyed is through marriage, divorce and/or false accusations. MGTOW's primary advice to men is to never get married or otherwise give a woman any significant power over their lives; thereby limiting women's and inlaw's destructive power. The vast majority of men's problems evaporate simply by limiting women's social, physical, emotional, psychological, legal and financial power over their lives. It's easy to see why many see MGTOW as a threat to their security and financial goals. The goal of those opposed to MGTOW is to discredit MGTOW and paint the MGTOW mindset in a negative light in order to keep men on the plantation. This is typically accomplished through all forms of shaming and may even result in social and financial ostracization through job loss and/or false accusations.

I don't think people feel threatened by it so much as they think it's a silly thing for a person to self-identify with. Like a person who insists he's a "rebel" or a "genius"...either go your own way, or just talk about how you go your own way. People respect doers more than talkers.

It's funny when feminists accuse MGTOW of being gay like it's some terrible thing.

Many of them are not nice people. Lets not play the fool.

Every group/movement has allies and enemies.
