What do I need to do before I move states? I am being abused and need to leave ASAP.?

I have a place to stay out of state with my girlfriend. I need to leave as soon as possible. I want to just pack up and go but I feel like I need to do more than that. Please tell me what I need to do. I m moving from California to Florida I m 22 years old.

    You don't need a passport to move between states. JUST GO!

    You need money if nothing else - you won't be able to stay anywhere without it.

    Ideally you also need a job; no landlord will rent to you without proof of a stable income.

    Just be sure you have all your documents, then get moving. Birth Certificate, SS Card, Passport. Leave right now.

    If you have a lease, you might be able to terminate it. Sell your furniture. Then get in your car and go.
