Jehovah's Witnesses- what do you think about the midweek meeting changes?

I think this is only a small change compared to what is about to come.

In case you have been asleep for the past 15 years the Governing Body has been making things easier on us. Easier to understand, easier to get the information, easier to find what we need for our ministry, and meetings and assemblies are being made easier too.

There are a couple of reasons for it, but the stem from the same main reason. The influx of new witnesses.

With all these new witnesses there simply isn't enough elders to keep up. Many of the new congregation are fortunate to have one or two elders. I have a couple of friends who just moved to Central America, they are part of a congregation that has 14 publishers, 12 of which are pioneers, 11 of those pioneers are sisters, and one publisher is a sister, which leaves 2 brothers, one of those brothers has only been in the truth a couple of year and was irregular until 6-8 months ago, and that leaves only one qualified brother who is an elder, and he has to go back to the US for a few months to take care of some business. There dozens if not hundreds of the new congregations, in many languages.

Due to all this the Governing Body is working hard to keep everyone spiritually fed at the same time. (No easy project) It's only through Jehovah's holy spirit that this is being accomplished.

I've been noticing that the halls around have all started installing projectors. I have a feeling that soon the JWbroadcast will be our Public Talk. And that would only made sense in at least English and Spanish. The elders are busy and to keep up with the congregational needs is getting harder on them than it use to be. Shepherding calls is a must if they want to keep the congregation strong. Especially with the growing need due to everything that is going on in Satan's system and that keeps interfering with our spirituality.

You can expect a push to gather as many as possible as the door prepares to close on the ark!

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the king of the north and the king of the south are engaged in the pushing spoken of in Daniel.

We may yet see prophecy fulfilled

When the link was given by an aposer, I thought: ok so this is a link that is against us, but actually what I read sounded so authentic and consequently, has proved true and I love the idea of our magazines not having dating on them anymore; such a wise decision!

Exciting. It will still have many elements of the current meetings, but putting more focus on the ministry.
