A Bothersome 'Nose Hair' Might Be A Worm
By DD Rose
If you think that you have a nose hair problem, it might be something bigger than you expected. Experiencing nose worms can be embarrassing. I remember Marsha telling me that she was plagued with nose irritations. One day while Marsha was talking to someone a worm came down; the person who saw it made a comment. Marsha was mortified and depressed by what occurred. I’ve been blessed to not have Marsha’s experience, but after she shared her experience I was cautious and vigorously blew my nose whenever I felt the slightest sensations. The only thing that I’ve seen were thick rubber-like organisms after blowing my nose. I’ve been in contact with other people who complain about nose worms. They want to know how to get them out or what can be done about it. I don’t have a concrete answer to this problem but I can share my experience along with some photos that I took.
One day while dealing with high fevers, coughing, and blowing my nose I remembered that I had a camera! I caught this worm – these kind of worms can been seen often - unfortunately, my pictures aren’t the greatest shots. Whenever I found blood in tissue a worm usually followed, eventually. Putting a needle next to the worm helps give a perspective on the thickness or size. This is one of the skinner worms that I’ve observed. People tend to think that worms are thin, but this is not true.
Several weeks prior to getting my camera, I blew out a tough skinned, very thick whitish long worm that came out in a big ball! I was surprised at its size. I had felt that worm crawl up my throat and when it hit the nose cavity I reacted strongly for days, as if I had allergies or a cold. I managed to get the worm out (see below my suggestion). When the worm was expelled, immediately, all of my sickly symptoms disappeared. After this experience, I had wonder about “sudden” allergies or colds that people are claiming because their problem could be possibly parasites. This could be a shocker for people to discover if they examined the tissue more thoroughly.
Some symptoms of possible nose parasites:
* Wiggling sensations
* Itchiness in the nose cavity on a continual basis
* Nose picking
* Seeing long stringy matter in tissue besides mucous
Usually worms are on the hunt for food if you ate a light meal. In my experience, many times worms will crawl up the nose while sleeping via the esophagus up the throat cavity into the sinus area. Dry coughing at night could be an indication of this when they tickle the back of the throat. If there is a heavy burden of parasites, they can travel anytime during the day in the nose area.
There is no real control to get rid of the problem unless there is an aggressive protocol to kill them. In the meantime, you can try my temporary solution; it usually takes a day or two for the worms to loosen their grip. Use fresh or dried ginger to make a strong tea and suck on a couple of cloves throughout the day to see if it will help you rid them out of the area. Blowing your nose will remove it. The few times that I’ve had an obvious blockage, this remedy had helped me.
