Will a K&N cold air intake effect the sounds of my car? ( 2014 corolla S + TRD exhaust system)?
http://parts.toyotaofcoloradosprings.com/oe-toyota...
I have a this muffler and my car sounds pretty good. But i want it to sound abit more low pitched if u know what i mean.
Will the K&N make it sound different in that way ?
+++++++++ SOMEONE told me it will barely effect it since its a corolla... is that true or is he talking out of his butta ?
All comments matter thanks in advance

If you change the air intake you will simply let out a bit more "induction" noise, which is the sound of air pluses being sucked through the intake manifold.
The noise wont be deeper, more of an annoying buzz.
Because the car already has a factory tuned cold air intake you wont see any performance gain, and you risk messing with the air sensors on the intake.

Toyotas hate aftermarket intakes. The popular wisdom is that it is because of turbulence around the MAF sensor, but whatever it is causes reduced power and intermittent check engine lights.

you have already wasted money on something that does nothing but make noise; the air filter will just be another waste of money..............you have an econobox, not a race car
