Do American have medical technology to smash kidneystone by ultrasound, instead of surgery? And if so, than what is the address.?

Just in case if I ever need it at all. Thanks.

ultrasound kidney stone treatment is an outpatient procedure performed in all major and many smaller US cities. It isn't effective in all cases and it is done before surgery is resorted to

Source(s): my neighbor just had the surgery since the ultrasound didn't alleviate his condition

Yes, we do routinely have kidney stones broken up ultrasonically but it's not like you just go to a drive thru kidney stone pulverizer and get it done yourself. In the states we go to a doctor and he diagnoses us with kidney stones and then may either send us somewhere to have the treatment or could possibly have the equipment in his office to complete the procedure.
