I have a date on friday to the movies and the movie is a scary movie, but I dont do well with scary movies, any help!?

I agree with Hugo, better to be up front that it's really not your thing. If they try to then pressure you into it anyway, that is NOT the person for you.
But if you really do want to give it a try and not be scared, I recommend watching some episodes of the reality competition show Face Off. It shows how special F/X artists create those horrifying looks and creatures, and then you can watch the movie and instead of getting scared, focus on how the artist must have done the make-up and costumes to make everything so realistic. Knowing how something is done can take a lot of the scary factor out of it, and it's a fun show to watch anyway. Amazon Video has it.

Explain you don't do well with horror movies and request a different movie. I am sure there is something else out there that you would like to see and, if he really wants to go out with you, he should respect your request.

Tell your date you would rather do something else. It's okay. They asked you because they thought you would enjoy it.
