Tell your RA about the issue and have them speak to your roommate for you. Smelling bad right after a shower can be a symptom of a medical issue, and people may not be able to notice for themselves that they smell. She could be sick, or have a serious case vaginosis, she needs to be told for her own good and social future.

I once worked with a lady who smelled like she had not washed her lady parts in days. It was clearly coming from that area. It would stink the whole office up. Nasty. It was awkward for those of us in the office to approach her about it as well. Like there was no way this lady didn't realize she had some issues. However she never acted like she smelled it or was embarrassed by it, etc. Our office manager was at a loss as to how to handle it. I have no idea if they ever approached this lady about it BUT several years later after I no longer worked there I saw this lady and she didn't have that smell anymore! Lol Good luck in your approach of this. I know it must be really awkward.

Maybe it's the types of food your roommate is eating? Maybe your roommate needs a stronger deodorant. Maybe it's something with his/her body chemistry. Maybe your roommate isn't washing thoroughly. Endless possibilities.
If I were you, I wouldn't say anything, because your roommate may already be aware of having a body odor problem and may be embarrassed. Just keep lots of soap and body wash, plus clean towels in the bathroom.

If you don't know how too be "Assertive" this maybe why you get step on like a "Doormat" all the time. If I'm wrong I apologize. Tell her to change what she is doing because she still has body odor after she showers. Working at a liquor store I smell some customers breath and some really stink and not of alcohol. I ask them "You you like some gum or breath mints" If they say "No thank you" I say "Well your breath really bad are you sure?". I don't feel a bit bad about it either. And don't care if their offended by my comments. It offends ME!~!~

Well some people i work with smell like this. I don't know, maybe they have diabetes or wear the same clothes everyday. Some people don't wash their clothes properly neither.

I had that problem with the boy who sat in front of me in the seventh grade. I begged the teacher to move me away from him but she refused. I kept perfume and tissues in my purse and constantly sniffed as if I had a cold because it was my only way to survive the smell! Today's rollerballs would be handy - just roll some discreetly under your nose when it gets unbearable. Best of luck to you!

Interesting . Have they got gums and teeth like a zombie? Or perhaps they have Athlete's Foot or a stinky vaginal discharge ?Do they cook with lots of spices that you have never eaten , because you will smell them strongly ?
