    You will be fine.

Overall it really does not get cold enough in Orlando for them to have much concern over it. There are of course times where it does drop low as sometimes cold fronts can pass through and there are set temp windows that the animals can be out in (is governened by the park and the AZA)... but most of the species are Animal Kingdom and the lodge are mammals which really do not have to worry about it.

Many have temp controlled exhibits and some even have special rocks, dens, etc in their yards that are temperature controlled.... they can be cooled in the summer or warmed in the winter. Plus, believe it or not mammals tend to adjust rather well to their environment. I work at a zoo in Ohio and our zebras stayed out all winter long and loved it (they did have shelter and extra hay).

The only animals that tend to get pulled in when cold snaps hit are tropical and sub tropical birds, reptiles, some primates and mammals with health issues. Snaps big enough in Orlando though are very rare and the number of animals they would have to pull are very low. Few enough that you might not even noticed they have pulled animals.

Disney knows all about this. In winter months, if very cold the animals will go inside.

December through February, one can never tell the temperature. It has been as cold as 19 and high as 80. Normally there are 5 freezing (under 32) days a year.

Yes, the animals are still out. It's generally pretty warm in Orlando throughout the year - the coldest months there aren't what most of us would consider cold. So the animals are comfortably outside during the day, year-round.

considering that the average daytime high in december is 72*F yes the animals are still outside.

they are out year round since after all it is floirda.

sure there can be cold spells but generally its warm to hot year round.

All of the animals have alternate housing available when not on display

They keep them out. It's in the 60's in Orlando in December. I've taken kids there over Christmas myself.

It never really gets cold there. We were there in January, and there were LOTS of animals.
