Inflamed ear piercing causing swollen lymph node?
Hi I got my right ear pierced in the cartilage about 3 weeks ago, and it was healing alright but in the last week or so I've accidentally slept on it a few times so it's gotten a bit red and inflamed, and I haven't been cleaning it properly (Ive cleaned it today). I've also got a swollen, tender lymph gland on the right side of my neck, which has only come up in the last few days. I'm thinking that they're related, and I'll just take care of my piercing and the lymph gland should be down in a week or so I just wanted to get some second opinions. Thanks in advance ☺

You to clean it often. A year ago I also got my right cartilage pierced. It also got red and everything, just clean it better and thoroughly. Plus someone suggested to me to twist the piercing 3 times a day. It keeps it from just sitting there and getting infected. It cleans it over.
