Why do I only grit my teeth when I pet my cats?

I just noticed this not to long ago, but I clinch my jaw or grind my teeth whenever I pet my cats. I don t do it any other time and it s something I do without thinking so what exactly does this mean?

You’re probably used to it and it has become a bad habit. It makes you feel comfortable without you realizing! The same thing like biting your nails when you’re nervous. If you want this habit to stop, do something else instead and make your mind get distracted. You could watch movies, listen to upbeat music, count sheep, search up funny quotes online, text your friends (phone/electronic device) while having fun with your cats, or dance in your room to some classical or party music. Give your cats catnip and record a video of them going crazy or acting like nothing affects them. You should do other things and there is a lot of things to do to distract yourself from bad habits. Take care. (:
