No. The Educational World is awash in obvious deceptions as well as simple misunderstandings. A Bachelors degree usually means that its recipient has completed satisfactorily 120 credit hours of a particular curriculum. A Masters degree Means that a recipient has completed 30 hours of a particular curriculum. Credentials can imply degrees or simply a limited course of some subject.

You can get a teaching credential by getting a Bachelor's degree, passing a certain number of State required tests, plus taking some specific teaching courses and student teaching. It is not a higher degree.

No, in the Philippines after you earn a non education related degree and you want to be a teacher, you can enroll for a Diploma for Professional Education (DPE) for an equivalent of 2 semesters then take a board exam. After that you can already teach for Elementary or High School. Earning a masters degree is different, although after which you can also teach in state colleges and universities.

It depends on where you live. In my state, middle and high school teachers do a 5th year leading to an M.A. T, which is considered a master's degree. In other states, you may be able to be licensed without a graduate degree.
