Why wasn't Darlene's Ferrin's husband Dean considered a suspect in the killings?
Darlene Ferrin was killed by the Zodiac Killer and Mike Mageau lived. Was her then husband, Arthur Dean Ferrin ever considered to be a suspect in the shootings? Why not?!

He had an alibi: the babysitter of his daughter Dena. Also in reading, I am finding confessions from serial killer Edward Wayne Edwards. He was in CA at the time trying to frame a former inmate. There are even newspaper articles where he tried to frame the guy he'd been in prison with. Also he was in Deer Lodge, Montana! Only he messed up by killing people just before the other guy got out on parole. Edwards is an interesting Zodiac suspect. He shared too much and that might have been the reason he wasn't seriously looked at as a suspect. But you can't say he wasn't a serial killer! No, he isn't "our type" not the type of killer we've imagined from reading and watching the movie. We thought he'd died but he didn't until 2011.

He was investigated and cleared. Presumably he had an alibi for the time the murders took place.
