I went to the bathroom, and apparently my brother wanted to go take a shower. He knocked on the door, and I told him to wait. So, my mom yells at me for being disrespectful and tells me to leave the bathroom. Why the he'll am I in trouble?!

She was probably in a bad mood, im guessing this is what happened.
Your brother got annoyed seeing as he's an idiot, and complained to your mom,
your mom told him to just wait, but your brother threw a tantrum because he didn't want to wait,
your mother got so annoyed at your idiot brother that she just did what he says.
No offence...but your mom and brother have issues....
