Any anime things that involves elementals?
Maybe something like "you are our master" type of deal. In which the main character has access to the elements, but through beings that have an affinity for said element.

So... Like blade dance of the elementalers? Kaze no stigma. Um, I'm not big on magical anime, but I'd say if you just went to a list of anime and limited it down to magical ones you'd find an endless source, and be able to be more choosy with your selection. I did name two though.
