Should government raise corporate tax and take more of your money built into price of goods and services?
Corporations do not really pay taxes you see in their tax checks.
They include these amounts into prices of goods and services and you pay their taxes when you buy things for your family.
Do you really want to pay more buying groceries?
@Greg W
No, they do not. If corporation selling ten thousand bicycles at $100 a piece has to pay additional million bucks in taxes, it raises price of each bicycle by $100. You will pay $200 per bicycle to cover corporate taxes.
@rd68
Now you probably paying for Obamacare for workers of these corporations. Nothing is free.

Suppose you walked into your boss's office and said "Boss, my rent is going up $50/month. So I'm going to charge you more money. Starting next week, I'm getting a $2/hr raise." What would your boss say?
He'd say you don't set your own wages. He'd say your wage is set by the market, the company pays you what you're worth. It's a lie of course, but the point is that you don't just arbitrarily decide what you're worth. Want more money? Get another job!
It's that way with goods too. Conservatives pretend to believe in laws of supply and demand, meaning that producers don't just set prices arbitrarily, they're set by the market. We lose hundreds of billions a year by corporations moving to a fake mail drop in the Cayman Islands to evade taxes. Who pays those taxes? WE do!

If I am chump enuff to vote for em , Dont see why they shudnt.
Most voters still think all the Federal money, (for Obamacare and such) is totally free. Some unnamed gazillionaire somewhere is gonna pay that 20 trillion debt.

I do pay more these days for groceries. When fuel costs were high, the higher cost was justified. These days I am just mystified.
Not really. I expect corporations and government to screw me over. Not sure why you don't.

Entire United States Constitution: 18 pages
Tax Code: 70,000 pages
"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed." - Declaration of Independence

Many corporations do not pay taxes because they take advantage of loopholes in our convoluted tax code. Their Republican corporate lackeys like to talk about reform it but refuse to do it.

"Corporations do not really pay taxes you see in their tax checks."
Sure they do.
Especially the ones that get most of THEIR checks FROM the Federal government.
"Do you really want to pay more buying groceries?"
Maybe. The answer depends upon what I get in return.

Just ask the top 1% to pay their fair share. Economists agree that it would help boost this economy.
