    Vietnam from January 69 to August 70.

    38 years Canadian Forces, and I've never heard a shot fired in anger. I've been in during some wars, e.g., Bosnia, and Afghanistan, and of course, I was working in an Intelligence field during the cold war. But, I was never "out there." That's just the way it worked out for me.

    I was Bombed in WW2 for 5 years was part of Occupational forces in Germany in Malaysia during the emergency Borneo during the Confrontation and Vietnam

    I served for 38 years

    Vietnam 69-70. Served on the hospital ship USS Sanctuary AH-17. Every three months we made port call at Subic Bay where I met my Filipina wife............
