Do people understand that their are people more powerful than presidents?

All these whining idiots complaining about how a priminister or president hasn't brought about much change, do they realize the president is mostly a likeable puppet and at the end of the day people in his own country have more power than he does? The world is completely corrupt and unfortunately the ones with power are the most corrupt ones. If a president could truly do whatever he wanted he'd have a team of experts shooting idea's out for him to tackle, but that's simply not the case.

This isn't new. The founders sought to prevent private interest groups from overtaking the government.

Teddy Roosevelt, a paraphrase, said there was a shadow government.

Wilson f*cked up when the Rothschilds et al infiltrated government entirely with controlling the money supply.

Eisenhower warned *again* about the military industrial complex building, and forces beyond his control.

JFK was most vocal about the shadow government. Killed because of it.

There* are people of huge influence, owning empires. Du Pont, Bush, Rothschild and Rockefeller are four of these families.

HW Bush may be overlooked as a one term president but was largely consequential when he was Reagan's VP and a CIA agent.

He's no longer president but his New World Order is coming along as planned.

A long time ago, someone once told me that the most powerful man in the country was not the president but Alan Greenspan (chairman of the Federal Reserve at the time) since he could single handedly tank the entire economy (via the stock market??)

Ive never really though any more about it and have not done any research to validate/debunk the amount of power that the FR Chairman has. Take it with a grain of salt.

    yes-

Most Americans understand that Free Trade puts corporations above the nations and their presidents.

Mos people do not ask themselves whether they want corporations to above above democratic governments-

This is our reality- we grew up in it- We do not notice it very often.

There is the potential of an elected president to do the right thing and represent the will of a majority of citizens.
