I think there is a difference between women who are looked up to as great and significant historical figures, and women who are admired? I'm sure it's a bit of both. There are many more historical female figures that you have not listed. Admiration is different for everyone. When I picture admired, I think of women like, Jackie Kennedy, Kate Middleton, Angelina Jolie, Audrey Heburn, Marilyn Monroe, Malala Yousafzai, Ellen degenerous, Oprah, Julia Roberts, Michelle Obama, Victoria Beckham, kim kardashian (sadly) and Ivonka Trump. Just to name a few

SOE (WW2) Female Operatives, working behind enemy lines in Europe, too numerous to mention, many gave their lives, some horrifically tortured, others survived, but all helped us to defeat Nazism.
Nurse Edith Cavell, WW1 heroine shot for spying, by the Germans, she had been helping POWs escape, but also had helped many German Soldiers, survive. Her words before she was shot are a tribute to Humanity, "As I stand here with God as my Witness, I realise that, Patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone." Her death was one of the key reasons USA entered WW1 on the side of Britain.
Emily Davison, suffragette, (1872 to 1913) she hid in the House of Commons on the night of the Census, as a protest, doing this had her address as Westminster Parliament in the Census. The Pankhursts, a family of Women who championed women's Suffrage, but also knew when to call a halt, namely for WW1, the deal being the Women's Suffrage movement would back the War effort, in exchange for the right to Vote. It was granted in 1919, USA soon followed in 1920.
