Can a NFL team go 0-6 in their division and still "win" the division?
One of my friends and I were talking about how slim the Titans chances are of making the playoffs and the question came up of can a team go 0-6 in their division but still "win" the division which obviously comes with one of the top 4 seeds.

In theory a team could go 0 - 6 in the division and win all their other games to go 10 - 6 winning the division. It's possible, but unlikely

Can they? Sure, they can go 10-6. Why would "win" be in quotes? If they are 10-6, and no one else is better than 9-7, they win.
Was this a trick question, or was this supposed to be realistic? It's not likely a team would do that.
