If Trump is lying about American Muslims celebrating 9/11, how could he cite a Washington Post article from 2001 that states exactly that?

It turns out that in 2001, an article in the Washington Post stated that local Muslims were celebrating 9/11. Liberals, how do you explain away this?

They celebrated. Most muslims in America celebrated. They didn't gather by the 1000s, but they did gather in Jersey City. They celebrated. It was well covered by the media.

Just after 9/11 some news organization release a brief video clip of what looked like Palestinians celebrating, not here but in the Middle East. Five or six people who get some kind of new and start jumping and dancing. The major networks picked it up and repeated it. Then it turned out the tape was five years old and they were celebrating something else.

I liked how Trump tells the newspeople "It was on TV. YOU find it." What he's really saying is "F*ck you! My followers don't even -care- whether it's true!"

For that one article there are many more debunking it, lt was also reported on the news on 9/11 then retracted literally the next day because the report was not factual.

And as Taylor mentioned, even if it were two or ten people, that is not "thousands and thousands" (Trumps words), which makes Trump a liar.

And as someone who lives on the Jersey City waterfront, I can tell you first hand there were no tailgaters celebrating nor were there roof parties.

Trump is a liar, plain and simple.

Oh my god, you are such a PIG. So because TRUMP, a RACIST, MORONIC, IDIOTIC A*SSHOLE says some racist bullsh*t, you think it's a good idea to be an even bigger f*cking JACKA*S and say that all muslims are terrorists!? F*CK YOU. People like your A*SSHOLE self are what's wrong with the world. And you say this so SMUGLY, trying to prove a point that is outdated and backed up by PREJUDICE. Sir, you are the kind of person I'd like to see burn to death, jump off a cliff, or drown. I usually say whatever, it's your opinion, but you are just a sorry excuse for a human being. F*ck you.

There is no point in trying to fact check trump. Because his supporters don't care about facts.

The reporters who wrote the story in the Washington Post article from 2001 do not recall whether the allegations were ever confirmed. “I certainly do not remember anyone saying that thousands or even hundreds of people were celebrating,” said Serge Kovaleski, one of the reporters. “That was not the case, as best as I can remember.”

and where are the videos of the "THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of Muslims celebrating in Jersey City"

give it up, and admit that Trump lied, move on.

Stop being culturally insensitive, if Muslims want to celebrate Americans dying they can. You're just islamophobic.
