Are men stupid?

Some men are, but most men aren't. However, the stats I've seen show the genders to be about the same IQ when averaged out...with some sources claiming women have a slight lead and others saying men do.

Does it really matter though?

I mean, if women were that much smarter than men, they would not have been so easily controlled and oppressed by men for so many thousands of years...even with men's physical strength advantage. After all, if physical strength was truly the advantage that many feminists claim, then wouldn't gorillas be putting humans in zoos instead of the other way around?

Physical strength is only an advantage if the other person is of equal or lesser intelligence. That's the real truth of the situation.

As far as reflexes are concerned, I haven't seen any studies on this, but with my own personal experiences, men tend to be able to move a lot quicker on reflex than a woman. I've seen this not only with myself when I've tried to go against guys in martial arts, but with other women too. Yes, there are exceptions, but it makes sense for men to have quicker reflexes, since they evolved to be the hunters and warriors of the tribe.

I used to go to this aptitude class. I was the one performing very good, there were few guys who's performance was very good but there wasn't any girl who could answer question faster than us. I don't remember any point where a girl answered tough question faster than guys, or answer at all.

I used to teach them sometimes and they wouldn't get what I was saying. There were some guys who were like that but on girls side everyone was like that. From all the experiences I have had, I found women stupid. They perform good when we have to cram/memorize knowledge and give exam....but they are not innovative at all. And history tells that too....I only know one scientists marie curie who invented something.....that too was with the help of men.

So yes men are some stupid. But when men are smart they are much smarter than women.

The IQ test is generally formulated to make sure that demographics (including race, gender, creed, etc) do not effect the results. That is, the average IQ across all blacks should be the same as the average as all Latino, as all Christian, as all men and all women.

As soon as a demographic starts to not average to 100, then they start looking at how the testing is failing.

So ... using IQ is problematic.

However, even using that, you'll find that there are far more men considered genius and more men considered imbecile, while more women are considered average.

So, you're more likely to find a guy whose intelligence is far less than "normal" or far more than "normal" than a woman.

But the average is supposed to be about the same.

Men normally tend to score a few points HIGHER in IQ tests compared to women. The scores are very close. Once in a while, a test will show women scoring a bit higher, but usually men score higher.

Even then, this assumes that IQ tests measure intelligence, which is still in debate.

Regardless, any intelligence differences seem to be slight.

There are rough, approximate, general parameters that TEND to have gender groupings of certain special talents, and/or higher-than-usual competence at general tasks that everybody does.

DO NOT MISTAKE YOUR "CONCLUSIONS" FOR THE DATA.

While, for instance, I MIGHT be a little impressionistic about GENERAL data, and feel a little safer if the pilot of my spacecraft takes off her helmet and I see that she's female, that doesn't take into account the existence of men like Brian Binney, Scott Carpenter (rip), and Sergei Krikalev, hot pilots all.

I want the best available. Why should _I_ have a rough ride because somebody has weird hangups about who pees standing up or sitting down?

I think the average for women is a couple of points higher, but more men fall on the far ends of the bell curve than women (as in more above average and below average).

Having a lower IQ does not equal stupidity. Reflexes are probably more related to age than gender.

Men and women are smart in their own unique ways but one gender is not fully smarter than the other. Plenty of smart (and stupid) people of both genders

this is a good question , in my point of view i think men arent at all but few of em are as well as women too.

Also about the reflexes i dont think so , there are ALOT of cases and varietes of situations , but as i see in my life that women s reflexes arent that faster than men s .
