How did the invasion of Manchuria lead to ww2?

    It did not "lead" to WW2. However, in retrospect, it was the start of continuous hostilities between two of the participants in WW2 so, on one view of things, was an early incident in WW2.

    It didn't.

    Germany invading Poland led to WW2 and the subsequent attack on Pearl Harbor drew in the US later.
