as Nicolas Henin (French journalist who was abducted and lived in IS hell for 10 months) said it is a mistake. The confused situation in Syrias sky is so typical of so many ppl applying different contradicting solutions to IS. IS didn't come to existence in a day & it won't disappear into thin air either. Violence is the logic of the weakminded and the bombardment of syria is a clear sign of the helplessness of EU and US. You would have thought with all these universities, experts, expensive projects and some very wise, intelligent and socially competant pple running around here someone would advise our politicians how to find an intelligent solution. No, instead they go about the usual 'wild west', 'bar fight', 'first shoot then ask question', 'kill 'em let god sort out', 'oh what does this red button do'-diplomacy!

They are not bombing Syria. They are bombing ISIS who have their head quarters and fuel dumps in Syria, there is a big difference between the two.

I think we are doing what has to be done.
