Listings for homes on internet ?

I am going to move to another state so am hunting on line, for now. Can I assume that if there are no interior photos, that the home has been trashed or is in poor shape ? What other reason would prevent the Realtor from adding those sort of photos ?

I would assume so, Realtors are trying to sale you a home, so they want you to see ever good part about the home. A realtor knows if he/she does not post pictures that the house will not get a lot of foot traffic. I would never look or buy at a home online that doesn't have pictures online.

There are many reasons why photos are not posted. I've bought 2 houses and sold one, and this is what I see.

--Lazy-*** realtor. Big reason why photos are not posted.

--Sellers still live in the house and do not want to be bothered.

--Sellers have renters living in the house, so access is by permission only.

--House is bank-owned, so access is limited.

--House was recently posted online and not enough time to update the listing with photos.

--House is currently under construction and/or being flipped.

Internet is just for quickness and you would need to view before you decided on anything, nothing stops you asking directly for them to send internal photos via email BUT many online photos are old so ask when the photos were taken as if they are using old photos the property could be very different to what they show online

Lazy agents. Most MLS' only require 1 photo.

If it's in a high-demand area, so they know it'll go anyway...

If it's currently a mess but will be tidier post-tenant...

Laziness / to be done later...

More pictures posted....more expense for the realtor.
