Just adopted two pet rats from a friend a week ago, and they don t seem to be willing to eat much.?
I adopted two pet baby female rats last weekend that were born back in October or so. They will eat oats, tortilla chips, and crasins. I got a bag of rat mix in pellet form, but they aren t willing to touch any of it. Any advice on what to do?

Rat mix is terrible, try high quality lab blocks or try subees rat grain mix, that stuff works amazingly. http://www.ratsrule.com/diet.html Do not give them alot of sodium and under no circumstances give the citrus fruit. The mixes that you are feeding them have poor nutritional value and most of the seeds and stuff are empty. ask your friend what they feed them but i highly recomened subees, its no expensive, good for them, you just have to make sure they don't pick and choose.
