How is Donald Trump allowed to remain a candidate for presidency?

He's always seemed like a racist douchebag but after his comment on muslims how can a man like him be allowed to run for presidency? Maybe his statement has some truth but majority of it is bigoted.

In a democracy, ANYONE can be a candidate for President. We don't muzzle people or prohibit them from running, no matter how distasteful or ridiculous their views.

That's why far-right and offensive candidates can run in any of the world's genuinely democratic republics.

America is a free country to like and support any politician of their choosing, many are choosing Trump, people ( Dem and Rep ) are sick of selfish, greedy, lying, whining ... corrupt CAREER politicians - Democrat and Republican but whether people are smart or brave enough to do what needs to be done remains to be seen ... Trump can be BRUTALLY HONEST and TRUTHFUL, especially about Illegals and Muslims , Trump doesn't even care if he wins or not , unlike all the other corrupt politicians who care only about themselves, more power , control and money , for, themselves and their cronies !

He is a joke like most of the other candidates. The only thing he has going for him is that he seems to understand how the average American feels on certain issues. To get anywhere, he'll need to turn his frustration into logical ways to deal with said issues.

Because, despite the Politically Correct Thought Police, it is still a free country. If you don't like Trump use your vote against him. You can't simply ban someone because YOU don't like them.

Because it is a free country, it doesn't matter if you like someone or not. Anyone should be allowed to run for presidency and express their views freely. This is something liberals do not understand.

he's done nothing to disqualify himself according to federal election rules and the voters still have not had the opportunity to cast actual ballots which, as the old saying goes, "is the only poll that matters."

thus, we remain a nation where the rule of law as defined by the People's will reigns supreme... and another lesson is taught regarding the distinction between what is "right" and what makes us happy...

People love it. They are actually entertained. Its all lies coming out of his mouth anyone the same as any other candidate. They all say whatever just to get the votes.
