what are the affects of US drone strikes on civilians on syria and and iraq?

could is be a possibility that if drones kill the wrong people and shoot at civilians it is inspiring families and children to want to kill us because now we are the bad guys in their eyes?

*Effects*. Effects is a noun, affect is a verb. You affect something to have an effect on it.

94% of people killed by our drone strikes have been civilians. Most of the time, we don't even hit the people we think we're gunning for. We've made them fear the clear blue sky. It makes them angry, and open to radicalization.

We've been getting away with ALOT in the past few years with regard to drone attacks. For alot of people the only impression of the US they have is surprise death from above. You legitimately have people afraid of sunny, blue sky days, cause that's when droning happens. Iraq and Pakistan had it particularly bad.

This is what happened in Iraq for sure. Drone strikes in Syri are not very frequent or well publicized. But in Iraq, this has happened.

In war you have three choices. Fight to win or lose or dilly dally and just kill people with no outcome.

The worst is a half hearted approach, more people die and nothing is resolved.

People die in war...otherwise, we'd call it peace.

Look at the wars we've had that ended well...we didn't pussyfoot around. And, for example, the Germans and Japanese like us much better than all the people of these wars with no resolution.

The people just want it over.

    sure

thats kind of what has been happening

if I was an Iraqi (or a variety of other peoples) theres a damn good chance family members, people I know have been killed maimed and displaced by the US invasion

theres every chance Id be upset and I might just find it difficult to not want to fight back - certainly Id be much more open to the message of the Daesh propaganda than I might have otherwise been

Haven't you noticed that the civilians are the ones being hit (purposely)...NOT ISIS...the world leaders planned everything happening...don't be fooled...

Radicalization of the populace. You bomb people, take away any future they had, as well as their loved ones, you're going to make enemies. Conservatives seem to be shocked that after supporting this for the last 13 years, we just happen to be making enemies. Well WTF did you expect?

  • its immoral NOT to bomb, because the more you put rules on war,the longer it goes on...all war is murder, and the shorter it is the better off most people will be.

"effects". And yes, every time we kill people, it creates more recruits for ISIS.
