Is there a difference between adult dog food and puppy food?

Update:

I don't feel like there is a difference between adult and Puppy food. I want to start feeding my 5 month old puppy TOTW High prairie dry dog food which has a protein at 32% and fat at 18% Do you think that is okay?

A quality adult food, such as TOTW, is fine for all stages of life.

My puppy refused to eat puppy food, even mixed in with adult food. We had her on straight adult food at 4 months of age, after trying to get her to eat puppy food from the time we got her at 10 weeks old.

yes. puppy food has more calcium and a nutrient rich formula for maximum benefits for the smaller portions. puppy food is also good for rehabbing recovering dogs, or putting weight on.

Taste of the Wild is a great food, and in my opinion it's fine to feed this adult dog food to a puppy. The puppy food would be higher in protein content and calories/fat, but the adult version of TOTW has plenty enough protein and fat content. (I feed my dog's TOTW)
