Can anyone give me some tips on how to calm my anxiety please?

I have to go to Church tomorrow, and I'm extremely nervous. Mostly because I haven't been in a very long time. I'm afraid I might get offended by something that might be said at the church. I'm deeply struggling with religion right now, so that could also be a reason for my panic. I need to go to bed soon.

Sorry if this sounds bad I'm just really tired but too worried to go to sleep.

Update:

Thanks for all of the answers, I think I might be able to try and go to sleep.

There are multiple kinds of disorders that deal with anxiety. Although most can manifest in similar ways, these disorders generally occur due to different events in your life. Natural home remedies for anxiety https://tr.im/EndAnxiety

Generalized anxiety disorder includes persistent and unnecessary worries about everyday, common events or activities, which can disrupt concentration and lead to other issues, such as depression.

I have a prescription for,,, ummm, an herbal remedy that yahoo mistakenly considers illegal, ,,,

but that won't work because if I went to church I'd probably burst out laughing inappropriately.

And yes, one reason I walk out of weddings and funerals during the religious parts, is that I am offended or the surprise over stupid things they say causes me to laugh, choke or grimace uncontrollably.

Note: I'm going to an atheist meeting instead, I don't have any anxiety about that.

I'm a Catholic but haven't been to church in a while myself. But when you go they might say "Haven't seen you in a while". But they won't condemn you for it I'm sure. Just say you have really been busy lately, but you still keep God and Jesus in your heart and pray to them every day. Unless that's a lie, then I don't know what you can say lol. But you will be in my prayers tonight. Good luck. :)

First we go to church to worship God. Those people at church should welcome you. As long as it is a bible teaching church anything said should be for your edification not your harm. Relax and go enjoy your time with fellow believers.
