If you pay right now $1000 for 2016 spring classes. Does it still go towards 2015 w2 taxes?

    Yes. It is deductible in 2015. I'm not sure what you mean by "W2 taxes" because deducting educational expenses has nothing specific to do with your W2 wages.

    Yes, would count for an education credit for 2015.

    yes, it is usually the year when you pay, not the year of the classes.
