How long does a pill take to leave your body?
So I have a knee injury and my doc just prescribed me gabapetin and it's a mother flipper. I took one about 6 hours ago and I feel completely screwed. Dizzy, naseaous, almost like I have a cold which I have no fever, I do have shakes, weak, no abnormal heart rhythm, just off and my previous meds haven't made me feel this bad. I could go on but basically how long will it take before the pill is out of my system. Thanks

The elimination half-life is 5-7 hours and is unaltered by dose or following multiple dosing. It usually takes 2 days for gabapentin to leave the system. However, if you are having these symptoms, definitely see your doctor and see if this is a normal side affect for your condition. Are you sure you took the right amount? make sure to check the label before you take any medicine, because these can be symptoms of overdose.
