Working out but not losing weight?
I've been working out very religiously for about a month. I've watched my caloric intake as well for about 3 weeks. I typically eat gluten free cereal for breakfast and then one other meal (gluten free pasta if I am splurging, but most generally a serving of meat and some vegetable side). Thus far, I've been doing the elliptical for 45 minutes half-max incline, 5 days a week. I've lost one pound and am feeling pretty discouraged. What do I need to change/add to see a difference? Thanks in advance!

Your weight might be close to your ideal weight or you have gained some muscle. Check your waist regularly. If you're losing inches or centimetres you're on the right track, even if your weight stays close to the same. Train also you core with cruches, situps and planking. Don't forget to train your back as well.

Fat loss doesn't always show up on the scale for the first few months even if you are getting leaner. You are gaining muscle density which will actually increase your weight and it takes a while for your body to become metabolic and dramatically reduce your body fat. I always tell people to stick with a workout routine for a solid three months to start seeing results. Don't judge your progress solely on your scale weight. Think about how you look and if your stamina in your workouts is improving. If you are getting more fit and can workout longer or harder I can almost gauruntee you are losing fat

Eat as many vegetables as possible. Also, use measurements instead of using a scale, The scale is a really poor way to measure fat loss. I GAIN weight when I work out... if I went by the scale I'd never work out again lol
