All I want to do is escape my life, what am I supposed to do?

When I say escape I literally mean run away and never come back. Not suicide, I see life as precious and would never waste it.

I just feel so overwhelmed and can't handle it anymore. Whenever I try to make a change I just give up because lying in bed worrying is easier.

I would say I'm facing some problems, but even then compared to other people they don't seem so bad:

- Belief that my boyfriend is cheating on me.

- Degree exams which I will/am not ready for.

- A constant emptiness or shakiness inside, which is actually driving me insane.

- Conflicting feelings; constantly confused about my life, emotions and what to do next.

- I feel isolated, but then I don't want to talk to anyone because I fear they will think I just want attention or I'm being melodramatic. (hence why I'm posting on here).

I don't really know what I'm asking, but I guess any replies off anyone with advice or going through the same thing would be of great help.

I know what you mean, I have the same urge sometimes.

I've moved around a lot, for my husband's job, different states, and my tendency is always to think that my life is going to better automatically.

It never is, some things improve, other problems arise, a lot stays exactly the same.

You will feel better if you deal with one problem effectively, for instance study for your exams.

Tackle the other problems at some other time, you're getting paralyzed thinking about everything at once.

It is all part of growing up. You need to write out a list of all your 'problems' and then write out a list of possible solutions for each one. Poor diet may be a problem, too much fake sugars in foods can cause more problems than most people realize. Try and grow as much food as you can. Prayer is good because focuses us on other people, not just ourselves. It also teaches us to be grateful and see beauty in things and to give thanks for things we normally take for-granted.

You could speak to a doctor about your feelings and they might be able to pass you on to a psychiatrist with who you could talk about your feelings and problems and try to come up with a solution and make you better.
