There's a formula for height. Add your mom's height and your dad's height, then add about 5 inches on to that if you're a guy (subtract 5 if you're a girl).

Puberty tends to finish at age 18, sometimes later to about 21 or so. Since puberty is basically the final stretch of height growth and it's probably over, you might be finished. It is entirely genetic, meaning you could get your height from relatives on either side of your family (mom's or dad's).

That being said, there are things you can do to enhance growth. Diet, exercise, and sleep. Do stretches and look up specific exercises. Though 5'9 is a fine height, average. Plenty of girls will like you assuming you have confidence, you can still play basketball even at the professional level, and you can still make a killer salary. (I'm personally trying to get to 6'0 despite being 19, only 4 inches left but I believe much stranger things have happened).

No accurate way to predict these things though, so you might end up as 6'0 or even taller. Just do the things I've said if you want to grow taller. You'll know for sure in your 20's.

At least 5'9". Beyond that is anybody's guess. With emphasis on *guess.* There's nothing you can do to re-program your height genes: my dad was about 5'9" and mom was 5'. I ended up at 6'2" but my sister was only 5'1"
