what happened to yahoo comics?
Where did the comic strip section on yahoo go? One day I tried to view my favorite comic and it was gone.
Just now I tried to type yahoo comic strips into my google to find it and it had links to a few comic strips, but when I clicked on them it just brought me back to yahoo home page.
This sucketh.

They fixed something that wasn't broken and in the process put themselves at an even greater disadvantage to Google. Seems they never learn ! The same can be said about their Dear Abby column ... it's not longer easy to find for what looks like the same reason.

SAN FRANCISCO — Yahoo is planning job cuts of about 10% of its workforce, according to a report, as it responds to shareholders' frustration with a turnaround plan that has failed to jolt revenues.
The Sunnyvale, Calif. Internet company is working on a plan that would reduce its employee count by more than 1,000 and could begin as early as this month, said Business Insider, which quoted unnamed sources.
Yahoo's media business, European operations, and its platform technology group could be particularly hit, said the report.
A spokesperson for Yahoo did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Earlier Wednesday, Yahoo had said in a statement that it would "share additional plans for a more focused Yahoo on or before" its fourth-quarter earnings call this month.

Seriously! This is utter bu11$ĥįť. Yahoo Comics (particularly the editorial comics) was one of the few redeeming qualities Yahoo News had left! It seems they've now pissed that down the tubes. Nice work, Yahoo...you idiots.

Pissed me off that I can't get to my yahoo comics. I looked forward to them every morning before reading all the bad news in the world

What happened to comics? Are you having problems or did you discontinue it.
That was my favorite thing about yahoo. If it was discontinued, that is surely a stupid thing to do from yahoo management. Replace The CEO!

It's gone, mine says Content not currently available. It's probably a licensing fee fight.
