Why do people think movies like SOUTH PARK, TED, TEAM AMERICA, DEADPOOL, and WATCHMEN are suitable for children?

    None of these shows are appropriate for children. Though they are from different mediums (tv shows, comics, animation) they are intended for mature audiences only. South Park even has a disclaimer at the beginning of each episode for no one to watch it. If there are children who did watch/read any of this, it is either because the parents don't understand what it is about, don't care about what they watch, or they feel that their children are old enough to understand/see adult material. However, that is the parents choice, as again these are for mature audiences only

    They're not. Kids should not be watching that stuff. Just because family guy and South Park are animated does not mean that they are suitable. They are just about the most offensive shows I've watched.

    Because they're animated or feature things usually associated with kids. Some parents are just plain dumb.

    They are stupid people, I would never let a child watch any of those shows. Maybe they haven't seen them themselves is all I can guess.

    Small Children..........no . It's clearly humor meant for adults and older kids..........teenagers.
