Fish to feed a medium Oscar?
I have some small aquarium fish (platies, and mollies) and they are beginning to die from old age not sickness and they are basically just waiting for their time to come. I was wondering if it would be okay to feed them to my Oscar? I wouldn't do it till they were on their very last legs and this way their bodies will be being used not just getting tossed in the trash.

The risk is passing some sort of disease to the Oscar. The older fish that are dying are more prone to catch a disease than a healthy fish, and you might inadvertently introduce that disease to the oscar tank. The occasional fishy treat for the oscar will not necessarily hurt, but be sure that you are sure the feeder fish is in good health.

I'd never feed a live fish to an Oscar.
For one thing it promotes disease and actually it is a a very fatty meal. Use Krill and a good pellet.
