Massive firefox slowdown?
Recently my Firefox browser has been incredibly slow.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, disabled all add ons, and ran a security sweep. And its still really slow.
Its not the internet connection because the other computers in my house still work fine. And no other computer programs on my laptop is slowed down.
A bit before Firefox started to slow down I opened and moved around some 1 gig word docs so maybe that affected memeory allocation or something.
How can I make Firefox faster again?

What did you run your security sweep with?? Your Anti Virus Program?? Not good enough.
What is more than likely effecting Firefox is a BHO Browser Helper Object and it is not a virus.
I recommend you download and install the Free version of Malwarebytes and run a scan with it.
When you install MBAM, on the last window before you click Finish, UN TIC the bit about enable the premium version. That is the paid version.
