Is this a major problem or just maintenance required?

It is located under the engine of a 2007 Mercury Mariner with 102 thousand miles on it. I wiped it with fingers and it is a watery brown liquid. The vehicle has been sitting parked for about 2 weeks. Oil level on engine dipstick is good. Oil looks like new not milky...

    Watery, brown liquid appears to be under the front of the engine. I'd guess it's anti-freeze. Check the coolant reservoir and see if it's low, also check the radiator level. It's probably the water pump or a hose located right above the area where it's dripping from. If the anti freeze in the recovery bottle and or radiator is the same color as the leak then that verifies it.
