Printer problems after installing Windows 10?

After I installed Windows 10 my printer worked successfully but since Tuesday it is refusing to print. The PC says the printer is ready and online as does the printer display itself but it won't print. Anyone any ideas about what the problem might be, I have tried reinstalling the drivers.

    Reset printer reinstall CD

    Is it your default printer - for some reason Win 10 sometimes deselects it.

    I guess I would follow the usual steps. Turn the printer on and off. Turn the computer on and off. Unplug the USB cable and try a different port on the PC.
